Port Jefferson:
I see his statue only from the back

feeling a stranger
ev'rything locked, beaches and hearts,
just money would open their minds

walking slowly on the sunny campus of Stony Brook University
two dreams approaching:
1) an angry youngster on his motorbike,
a lovely girl behind him,
2) a vastly crowded lecture hall,
a famous intellectual is giving a talk

no space for silence
